Founder's Story
While working on my license to be a therapist, many traumatic experiences happened to me. I was almost kidnapped by a client. I was misled by those who were supposed to show me the way. I was bullied, coerced, and neglected by my clinical supervisors. I lost a baby and my entire support system. The breaking point was when I went to sit for my last exam to become licensed and I was turned away. I decided that I was done focusing on being a therapist and would use my counseling skills to coach clients instead.
Coaching saved my life!
It gave me a profitable business doing what I love and being able to provide for my daughter as a single mother. It taught me to give myself what I always wanted, which is safety, support, and enhancement. It created the Try On Philosophy, which is to seek the right fit, that governs my life.
Now, I am a coach, licensed therapist, leader, and entrepreneur. I have more than 30 years under my belt as an advocate of the human story and development of individuals. The Corporate Xcape Program in my life's purpose. The program is worth two academic and Master level private university programs. It is everything I have gained and everything I wish I could have had. It is a hand up, especially for those who know they have the true purpose of helping others and they want to ensure it is done in the healthiest way.
