Sharing my Gifts

I found the gift of knowledge after experiencing an unsafe environment as a volunteer mentor, Women’s Leadership Conference Chair, and Workshop/ Seminar Chair for an organization. I learned that it was not the right fit for me as it does not align with my values of integrity, freedom, growth, and intimacy. 

I found the gift of power when I was thrown under the bus during a leadership meeting. I asserted myself and followed up with boundaries. I upheld my boundaries by leaving the organization after my boundaries were not respected.

I found the gift of inspiration when I took the opportunity to test out a workshop called Completing Your Business plan. The workshop was quite successful with it moving from a 41% attendance rate to a 60% attendance rate over just a week. This sparked the clarity to bring together the Startup Grind Nashville and OKC workshops as well as continue to mentor through my own organization's Thrive Oasis.
